Stretches To Help Decrease Bloating
Did you know that stretches can help you with bloating??
They may not be the cure all depending on your bloating issues but they can really help! There are tons but here are some of my favorites.
Childs pose is an easy go to! I like this for both bloating and period cramps too. It is easy to sit back in it, take deep breaths and relax.
Legs up on the wall feels great and like its draining fluid. I'm not sure if it does drain anything but it feels nice and like you're letting gravity do the work.
Laying butterfly feels great on my stomach! It is super easy. Don't put pressure on letting your legs open crazy wide, just do what is comfortable for you.
Try these out and let me know which you like best!

Dealing with bloating can often be uncomfortable, and incorporating gentle stretches into your routine may assist in easing this discomfort. First, Child's Pose is beneficial as it encourages deep breathing, helping to relax the belly and relieve tension. Legs Up the Wall is another simple pose that allows gravity to aid in fluid drainage and promotes relaxation, making it a go-to for many seeking relief. Lastly, the Laying Butterfly stretch encourages gentle opening of the hips and can provide a soothing sensation to the stomach area. In addition to these stretches, consider lifestyle adjustments such as mindful eating and staying hydrated, as they too play crucial roles in digestion. Mindfulness during meals can prevent overeating and help your body better process food. Herbal teas such as peppermint or ginger can also assist in digestion and help reduce the sensation of bloating. For those who experience chronic bloating or discomfort, it's always advisable to consult with a healthcare professional to rule out underlying conditions. Remember, regular movement and mindful practices can greatly enhance your overall well-being.
