Maple Pecan Syrup

This maple pecan syrup is warm and nutty. Perfect over pancakes, waffles, ice cream, or stirred into oatmeal. The pecans add a toasty depth that makes every bite feel cozy.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup water

• 1 cup pure maple syrup

• ½ cup chopped pecans

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• Pinch salt

Instructions (expanded):

1. Toast the pecans in a dry skillet until fragrant. This brings out their natural oils and flavor.

2. In a saucepan, combine water, maple syrup, and the toasted pecans.

3. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes to meld flavors.

4. Strain out the pecan bits (unless you like texture) and stir in vanilla and salt.

5. Let it cool before bottling.

Storage & Tips:

• Store in a sealed jar in the fridge.

• Rewarm gently when using so it pours smoothly.
