Beginner Oxtails Recipe
I grew up with a SAHM who cooked just about every single day, and she would always try to teach me how to cook, but I just could not get it 🥲 to the point that I would rather just go help my dad cut grass outside. 💀(Love you, mom!♥️)
I did not take cooking delicious home cooked meals seriously until about 3-4 years ago, and even then watching tutorials of people switching to multiple pots, cutting up 100 ingredients just felt sooo overwhelming. 😅 Still, I really wanted to learn and do this one thing for myself so I just practiced and experimented. So now, I love taking a recipe that seems complicated and simplifying it all while keeping all of the deliciousness of the original.☺️

Ingredients:
Oxtails
Browning
Soy sauce
Thyme(actual herb)
Oxtail Seasoning or All purpose
Beef Broth
Salt to taste
Optional ingredients:
Garlic(optional)
Onion powder(optional)
Cornstarch (optional)
Beans (optional)
Veggies - carrots, onions, bell peppers (optional)
1. Marinade oxtails 8-10hrs in 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1 tbsp browning, & dry seasonings. (The longer you marinade, the more flavor.)
2. Add to slow cooker topped with thyme and 1 cup beef broth. Time at 8-10 hours.
3. An hour before it’s done, add in your drained beans, cornstarch, and veggies.
4. Add to minute rice.🍚
