✨🦋 Quick Easy Snack 🦋✨ Homemade Protein Bake
This homemade protein bake was great for a quick snack and sweet tooth. It was easy and very tasty in my opinion 😊. The recipe is below if interested. This was meant to be easy to make and a way for me to use left over ingredients so nothing went to waste in my house 😊🫶
Ingredients:
~ 5 oz of yogurt. It’s about the equivalence of an individual store bought yogurt cup. I used oikos lemon flavor.
~ 28g/ 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (any protein powder should work).
~ 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
~ 1 whole egg.
~ 1 cup of fresh blueberries
~ 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
Frosting:
Miss Jones Organic Cream Cheese. I melted a 4 tablespoons in the microwave and spread over the entire bake. The frosting is naturally very thick so melting it made it much easier to spread.
Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients together, doesn’t matter the order. I baked this in the oven on conventional bake at 350° for about 30-35 minutes.
It really was delicious. I will say I would eat in a day or two and refrigerate because of the yogurt component.
