Wendy’s Chili 🌶️

Ingredients:

2 pounds ground beef

1 onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes

1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, undrained

1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, undrained

1/4 cup chili powder

1 tablespoon cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 cup water

Directions:

In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.

Add the onion, green pepper, celery, and garlic to the pot. Cook until vegetables are tender.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, pinto beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, sugar, oregano, paprika, cayenne pepper, and water.

Bring the chili to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Serve hot and garnish with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, sour cream, or green onions.
