Decadent Heart-Shaped Cheesecake Brownies

Ingredients:

For the Brownie Layer:

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 ¼ cups granulated sugar

½ cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¾ cup all-purpose flour

½ cup cocoa powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon baking powder

For the Cheesecake Layer:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 egg

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Swirl:

¼ cup brownie batter (reserved from above)

1 tablespoon milk

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Brownie Batter

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and line a 9x9-inch pan with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.

Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully incorporated.

In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until combined.

Reserve ¼ cup of the batter for the chocolate swirl. Set aside.

Pour the remaining brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.

Step 2: Make the Cheesecake Layer

In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.

Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.

Spread the cheesecake mixture gently over the brownie batter, using a spatula to smooth the top.
