Through my own trial and error (and using tools like the 'Fig' app, which is a lifesaver for checking ingredients!), I've learned to scrutinize labels. My golden rules are: Low Added Sugar: This is probably the most important. Many bars hide sugars like cane sugar, rice syrup, or high-fructose corn syrup. The OCR even showed how 'Organic Cinnamon Roll Z Bars' were flagged for these! Look for bars with minimal or no added sugars.
