Vanilla Coffee Syrup

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla paste (or to taste)

1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract (or to taste)

Bring water and sugar to slow simmer stirring constantly.

Add vanilla paste and simmer 1-2 minutes until desired color is reached.

Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.

Cool and bottle. Refrigerate.

May be used for up to 2 weeks.
