Peach Dump
Literally tastes almost as good as homemade cobbler, but with little to no effort! You can use any canned fruit. My personal favorite is cherry, but peach is always a hit!
To Make:
Layer the fruit: Spread canned pie filling (like cherry, peach, or blueberry) or crushed pineapple evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
Add cake mix: Sprinkle a box of dry cake mix evenly over the fruit layer, making sure to cover it completely.
Top with butter: Arrange thin slices of butter evenly over the cake mix, or drizzle melted butter over the top.
Bake: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Serve: Let it cool slightly and serve warm, often with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
*Some of my favorites include: Cherry, Strawberry, and Blueberry Pineapple (with crushed pineapple and blueberry filling). Also cherry pineapple (similar to pineapple upsidown cake) is delicious!
