The governor of Bangkok presided over the signing ceremony of the Bangkok Partnership to Advance Bangkok's Air Quality Initiatives, "with the director of the Environment Bureau, Mr. Frank Hammes (Mr. Frank Hammes), the chief executive officer of IQAir AG, signing to enhance Bangkok's air pollution problem by using technology and insights as a tool at the Ratchonsakorn Room, Bangkok City Hall, a swing pole.
The governor of Bangkok said that today's memorandum of cooperation is driving the Bangkok Air Quality Initiatives Partnership to Advance Bangkok's Air Quality Initiatives. The problem of air pollution, especially microdust, is a challenge that Bangkok is the top priority for, and has continued to take short-term and long-term measures, such as opening up channels for people to notify black smoke cars through the Traffy Fondue platform, establishing a Real-time Air Quality Information Center with a wind and heat spot forecasting system, providing a risk map to control and reduce incineration in the open air to zero. Promote public health care through education in schools and communities, the establishment of dust-free rooms, pollution clinics in hospitals, and the addition of green spaces by planting one million trees, which in partnership with IQAir AG today will be a milestone to empower Bangkok to develop air quality surveillance and management systems with international innovation and technology to enhance the quality of life of citizens in a sustainable manner. "
The Bangkok Air Quality Partnership to Advance Bangkok's Air Quality is a partnership between the Environmental Bureau and IQAir AG, an expert in air quality measurement and management technology, to develop air quality management in the Bangkok area for a one-year implementation period by systematically framing cooperation in the development of air quality management in the Bangkok area and promoting joint action on the main issues: 1, public awareness and communication; 2, the development of scientific information and analysis systems to support policy decisions; and 3. The upgrading of air quality within Bangkok's school buildings, with the scope of cooperation: 1. The use of data-Driven Insights consists of the use of IQAir's air quality measurement platform and API in conjunction with Bangkok's platform, providing real-time data, statistical trends, and reports supporting public health and environmental policy; 2. Public Awareness Campaigns include the preparation and dissemination of knowledge about risks, origin, and air pollution mitigation measures, focusing on vulnerable groups; and 3. The School IAQ Initiative consists of co-assessing and improving school air quality in the Bangkok area, developing practices and policy proposals to reduce the impact on juvenile health.
The expected results, in addition to accurate, comprehensive and available air quality data for management, will be a timely upgrading of warning measures and prevention of impacts on public health, as well as building public, school and community knowledge and cooperation in reducing and preventing air pollution, as well as enhancing Bangkok's image as a city using advanced technology to administer air quality in accordance with international standards.
