1 cup flour

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

filling:

4 green apples

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons corn starch

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

instructions:

preheat oven to 375 degrees

crumble topping:

in a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon.🍂

add melted butter & mix with a fork until crumbly

prepare filling:

in a large bowl, combine apples, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon. transfer the apple mixture into the prepared baking dish. sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples🍎🍏

bake for 35–40 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and apples are soft and let cool slightly before serving. serve plain or with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!!
