Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪
• 1 cup salted butter, softened
• 1 cup light brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat over to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using an electric hand mixer.
3. Once the butter and sugars are fully combined, add the eggs and mix again on a high speed until the eggs are well incorporated.
4. Maintaining a high speed on the hand mixer, add the baking powder, baking soda, and flour to the mixing bowl. Mix for about 1 1/2 - 2 minutes, or the ingredients are fully combined.
5. Use a large spoon or spatula to gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough. Using a 1 inch cookie scoop. Scoop cookies onto lined baking sheet
6. Bake cookies in oven for 12 minutes
7. Remove from oven and switch cookies over to a cooling rack.
8. Allow cookies to completely cool before storing in an air tight container.
NOTE: cookies will look slightly blonde! But they are perfect every time
