Make Immunity Shots With Me 🫚🌱🌟
Strengthen your body's immune system with ginger shots!
Lemon is rich in vitamin C and supports the immune system, while ginger has anti-inflammatory and digestive benefits. Combined, they can help boost your immunity, aid digestion, provide an energy kick, and act as antioxidants.
Sweetening your ginger shot is optional. We prefer honey and pineapple. You can also use agave or maple syrup. It’s a matter of preference.
You can take your ginger shot at any time of the day. We take ours in the morning. Some people prefer them as a mid-day pick-me-up or before meals to aid with digestive issues.
📝 Ginger Immunity Shot Recipe ⤵️
- 2 navel oranges OR 8 halo mandarin oranges
- 1 fresh lemon
- 1/2 pineapple
- 1 piece of ginger root
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp tumeric
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
1. Rinse and scrub the ginger root. There's no need to peel it. Then chop it into slices.
2. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender. (You don't need a juicer for this.) Blend until it's all liquid.
3. Strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove any pulp.
4. Pour the Ginger Shot mixture into small shot glasses or airtight containers, making it easy to grab and go.
5. Store your Ginger Shots in the refrigerator. Consume one shot each morning on an empty stomach.

Ever since I started incorporating these homemade immunity shots into my daily routine, I've noticed such a difference in my overall well-being! It all began when I was constantly feeling run down, and a friend suggested I try natural immunity boosters. That's when I stumbled upon the magic of ginger shots. Making these 'Immunity Shots' at home has become a cherished self-care ritual for me. The core of these vibrant shots, ginger root, isn't just for adding a kick to your food; it's a powerhouse for your immune system. I've learned that ginger contains compounds like gingerol, which have incredible anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It's believed to help fight off infections and even soothe a sore throat. For me, it feels like a warm, protective embrace from the inside out! Then there's lemon, a classic immune-boosting superstar thanks to its high vitamin C content. Vitamin C is essential for white blood cell production, which are your body's little defenders against illness. When I combine these two, I feel like I'm giving my body the best possible natural shield. Don't forget the turmeric! While ginger gets a lot of credit, turmeric, with its active compound curcumin, is another anti-inflammatory hero. Adding a pinch of cayenne pepper not only gives it a zesty kick but also helps with circulation, potentially aiding in delivering those beneficial compounds throughout your body more efficiently. The pineapple isn't just for sweetness; it brings an enzyme called bromelain, which also helps reduce inflammation and supports healthy digestion. I love how all these natural ingredients work together synergistically! I usually prepare a batch of these immunity shots on Sunday evenings, so I have them ready for the week. I pour them into small, airtight bottles – those little ginger shot bottles from Amazon are a lifesaver for grab-and-go mornings! Storing them in the fridge keeps them fresh for about 5-7 days. I find that taking one first thing in the morning on an empty stomach truly sets a positive tone for my day, giving me a natural energy lift without the jitters of coffee. However, some days I'll have one as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up if I'm feeling a bit sluggish. It’s all about listening to your body! For those who find the taste a bit intense, don't worry! You can always adjust the amount of honey or add a little extra pineapple. I've even experimented with a splash of orange juice for a sweeter, fruitier twist sometimes. Another tip I picked up is adding a tiny pinch of black pepper – it's supposed to help your body absorb the curcumin from turmeric much better! This simple habit has truly transformed how I approach my health, and I encourage everyone to try incorporating these powerful homemade immunity shots into their routine for a natural boost.
