Heal the Way You See Love đŸ”‘â„šī¸đŸ‘‡

Love itself never wounds — only unskilled hands do.

Someone’s inability to love you properly doesn’t mean love failed you. It means they weren’t ready, equipped, or willing to meet you where your heart lives.

Don’t blame the river for the one who couldn’t swim.

â¸ģ

Benefits of Understanding This:

â€ĸ Heals misplaced anger toward love itself

â€ĸ Restores your trust in real connection

â€ĸ Helps you separate pain from pure love

â€ĸ Strengthens emotional boundaries for your future relationships

â€ĸ Opens the door to receive healthier, deeper love

True love is never the villain — misunderstanding is.

â¸ģ

Who This Is For:

â€ĸ Those healing from heartbreak

â€ĸ Those learning the difference between love and attachment

â€ĸ Souls who refuse to close their hearts permanently

â€ĸ Anyone choosing self-respect over self-blame

â¸ģ

Why This Is Important:

Because misplacing blame scars your future. If you confuse poor treatment with the nature of love itself, you lock yourself out of the very thing you deserve. Love is still pure. Let the brokenness belong to the ones who mishandled it, not the feeling itself.

â¸ģ

Pro Tips:

â€ĸ Remember: Love doesn’t control, confuse, or diminish

â€ĸ Heal by seeing actions separate from emotions

â€ĸ Don’t swear off love — swear off unskilled lovers

â€ĸ Keep your heart open, but guard it with wisdom

â€ĸ Trust that love in its true form still exists

â¸ģ

Spiritual Insight:

Pain distorts perception. True healing comes when you realize the injury wasn’t from love itself, but from fear, ego, or wounded souls. Pure love is healing, freeing, expanding. It never needs to be abandoned — only purified in your perception.

â¸ģ

Business Insight:

In leadership, business, and brand building — don’t confuse setbacks, betrayals, or bad partnerships with the nature of collaboration itself. One bad connection doesn’t mean all connections are broken. Separate poor execution from the pure energy of unity and purpose.

... Read moreIt's a universal truth we often forget: you absolutely deserve to be loved with the same depth, honesty, and effort you pour into others. When I first heard someone say, 'You deserve to be loved the way you love,' it felt like a light bulb went off. For so long, I had confused past hurts with the nature of love itself. I internalized the pain, thinking maybe *I* was the problem, or that true, reciprocal love just wasn't for me. But then I realized, just like that powerful message I saw on a pillar once, 'Love didn't hurt you. Someone who doesn't know how to love you hurt you. Don't confuse the two.' This shifted my entire perspective. So, how do we actually receive the love we give? It starts with really understanding what 'the way you love' means for *you*. Are you someone who expresses love through acts of service, heartfelt words, quality time, gifts, or physical touch? Once you identify your primary love languages, you can start communicating them effectively to those around you. It's not about demanding, but about guiding your loved ones on how to best fill your emotional cup. I learned that expecting someone to magically know how to love me was setting us both up for failure. Open, honest conversations are key. Another crucial step is setting healthy boundaries. This was a game-changer for me. Before, I'd give endlessly, hoping my efforts would eventually be reciprocated. But true reciprocity isn't about keeping score; it's about a mutual desire to nurture and support each other. If someone consistently falls short after you've clearly communicated your needs, it might be a sign they're simply not equipped to love you in the way you deserve, or perhaps they're not willing to learn. It's okay to acknowledge that and make choices that protect your peace and self-worth. Remember, guarding your heart with wisdom doesn't mean closing it off entirely; it means valuing your emotional well-being enough to say 'no' to what doesn't serve you. I also started paying more attention to the signs of truly reciprocal love. It's in the small gestures – the active listening, the remembering of details, the consistent effort, the genuine appreciation for your quirks, and the unwavering support during tough times. It’s a feeling of being seen, heard, and deeply valued, not just for what you *do*, but for who you *are*. Building up my own self-worth was vital here. The more I loved and respected myself, the less I tolerated anything less than the love I knew I deserved. Healing from past disappointments is an ongoing journey, but believing that you deserve a love that mirrors your own capacity for care is the most empowering step you can take. Don't let someone else's inability to swim make you blame the river. The river of love is still pure and abundant, waiting for you to dive in with someone who knows how to navigate its currents alongside you. Keep your heart open, but guard it with wisdom, and trust that the love meant for you will find its way.
