Understanding co-morbid conditions like anxiety and oppositional defiant disorder is also important as ADHD rarely exists alone. This awareness enables teachers to approach behavior with empathy and tailored interventions rather than punitive measures. Lastly, enhancing collaboration between teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals ensures a holistic approach to managing ADHD, promoting academic success and emotional well-being. Comprehensive teacher training on ADHD can empower educators to recognize less obvious symptoms and apply evidence-based strategies that benefit both students and the broader classroom community.
