My mom told me to be myself…

So naturally I chose to spend hours hand-placing pearls onto a skull like a slightly unhinged artist with too much patience. This was beyond tedious. Every single pearl placed individually, trying not to mess up spacing, glue or alignment the kind of process where one wrong move ruins everything and you just sit there like… 💀

But somehow it turned into one of those pieces you can’t stop staring at. I would absolutely do this again, no hesitation ✨

👇 I’m curious, how long do you think this took?

... Read moreCreating art that requires meticulous attention to detail often means investing hours into a single piece, and this skull art adorned with individually placed pearls is no exception. From my own experience with intricate crafts, I understand the blend of frustration and satisfaction that such projects bring. Every pearl must be carefully aligned and glued to avoid ruining the entire design, making the process feel almost meditative despite its difficulty. What captivates me most about this type of artwork is how it transforms a seemingly macabre object—a skull—into something unexpectedly beautiful and mesmerizing. The contrast between the hard bone structure and the softness and luster of pearls invites viewers to pause and appreciate the artistry involved. For those considering similar projects, patience is key. Take breaks to avoid eye strain and mistakes, and don’t rush the spacing or alignment. Using tweezers and specialized adhesives can help with precision. Although time-consuming, the final outcome justifies the effort, providing a unique piece of wall art that serves as both an oddity and a conversation starter. This art also opens up conversations about incorporating natural elements like skulls in creative works, bridging the gap between the eerie and the elegant. Whether you’re an artist or an admirer, such pieces remind us how patience, creativity, and persistence come together to produce truly unforgettable works.

Unhealthy things I am unlearning as a mom 🌸
Being a good mom is my top priority. 1. Punishing emotions. I will not get my daughter in trouble for yelling at me, crying, or anything else. If you were crying and somebody told you you have no reason to be, or that they’ll give you a reason to cry, how would you feel? Worse? 2. Shaming.

5 things nobody told me about ✨braces✨
I got my braces put on Tuesday morning! 1. Your mouth is EXTREMELY wet sometimes. I catch myself drooling or with my mouth open randomly. They did not tell me this 😀 2. Over the counter medicine is a LIFE SAVER!!! I use extra strength tylenol ( 500mg per pill ) and it works wonders!!!
