Pre workout snacks I have in my morning rotation to help me get a good lift in💪🏼
I workout right in the morning before I eat breakfast but it’s important I have some sort of protein snack before I go to help me get in a good lift. These are all sweet as you can tell but good options still. My current go to is a bone broth smoothie bowl with a few berries on the side.

From my experience, having a reliable pre workout snack is a total game changer when exercising first thing in the morning. I used to struggle with feeling weak during lifts but incorporating protein-packed snacks like bone broth protein shakes has helped immensely. Bone broth protein powder offers a rich source of amino acids that support muscle recovery and joint health, which is exactly what you need before a good lift. Pairing it with a handful of berries not only adds antioxidants but also gives a slight sweetness without an overload of sugar. Another favorite I’ve rotated into my routine is these plant-based crunchy protein cookies, which are perfect for quick energy and easy digestion. One tip I found useful is choosing snacks that are not only high in protein but also have some healthy fats and a moderate amount of carbs, like banana cookies with drizzled nut butter. This combo ensures sustained energy release throughout the workout. If you’re looking for convenience, snacks like skinny cinnamon rolls with protein icing or specially crafted protein cookies can be great grab-and-go options. The key is to listen to your body; some days I prefer a light protein shake, while other days I go for something more substantial. Overall, rotating a variety of these protein-rich morning snacks helps keep my energy levels consistent and my lifts strong. I definitely recommend experimenting with these options to see what works best for you before your workout sessions.
