Made this because I wanted something soft, milky, but a little fruity… the peach twist makes it feel lighter and so good 🤍

Recipe:

Bake a simple sponge: whisk 4 eggs + ¾ cup sugar till fluffy → fold in 1 cup flour + 1 tsp baking powder → bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 mins

Milk mix:

Mix 1 cup milk + 1 cup evaporated milk + ½ cup condensed milk + ½ cup peach puree

Poke holes in warm cake → slowly pour milk mixture → let it soak really well (at least 4 hours or overnight)

Topping:

Whip cream + a little sugar → spread on top → add fresh peaches or peach compote

I like keeping the peach flavor slightly tangy so it balances the sweetness. Also don’t rush the soaking… that’s what makes it melt in your mouth 😭🫶
