Quilt As You Go Star Wars

I’ve gone as far as I can go on this quilt as you go project today. All the vertical & horizontal sashings

are done. I used the background fabric for my sashings to see how it would look & I’m happy with it.

The next step of the process is borders. I need more fabric for the back side of the borders & I can

pick that up tomorrow.

I was able to trim all my quilted blocks today, I love that pile of quilted trimmed blocks when I get that far. My “design walls” are the beds so I arranged the blocks how I want to sew them together and got started with the sashings. The last two photos are sewing the first vertical sashing.
