Proton therapy ends ✨ X-ray therapy begins❤️‍🩹

After about a month of proton therapy 👏

The irradiation schedule for 11 times (11 days) went smoothly without getting sick, and I was discharged from the hospital on May 12 and returned home 🏠

I irradiated the primary lesion (also the lymph node of the metastatic part next to it) and the right upper arm bone of the metastatic part. The primary lesion was irradiated from the back and when I took a shower on the morning of the 10th day, the irradiation part turned red and still has a dark trace 💦 It does not itch or hurt, but it seems that it is better to apply moisturizing firmly for a while 🥺

On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, there was no treatment because the machine was closed, and it was said that it was okay to leave the hospital temporarily or stay out, but since the house is far away (5 hours by car), the hospital... lol

The playroom was unsatisfactory because there was a time limit of 2 hours a day, and the hospital room was a big room and I could not speak much, so this month felt long 🛌

My son seemed to enjoy spending his time at his own pace as usual 🤣

I go out every day after I get home 🚗

Park, shopping, grandpa's house, park, park...

Move your body in a wide place and have fun 😆⚽️

Animals were also watching while being scared 👀 lol

It's the season for playing in the water, so I'm looking forward to playing outside 🩵

I have been hospitalized since the 18th and am undergoing radiation therapy. I will irradiate the metastatic part of the head. (11 times)

It seems that proton beam is good, but it became X-ray after discussion with the teachers. By the way, it seems that if proton beam irradiation is applied to the head, it will become bald semi-permanently. It seems that it will grow again even if it is X-ray. Proton beam can be irradiated more precisely, so I thought that proton beam would be better to prevent recurrence, and when I asked, it seems that X-ray is okay because it is not clear which is better for the head, proton beam or X-ray. Multiple teachers said the same thing 👂

The next treatment will start soon, but I will be hospitalized for 2 weeks and leave the hospital for half a year. It seems that fever will always come out... 🛌 I have to switch to all-night mode 🛌

Actually, I was told that I could leave the hospital temporarily for about a week, but there was a reason why I wanted to proceed quickly, and if 👦 was in good physical condition, I decided to proceed as it was 💦

As for the reason why I want to proceed quickly

I wish I could talk to you next time 💡
