creamy chicken noodle soup
creamy chicken noodle soup with honey biscuits~
it's soup season!
recipe inspired by @Britscookin
2 carrots, sliced
2 celery stalks, sliced
1 yellow onion, diced
1 potato, peeled & diced
1 stick of butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp garlic & herb seasoning
2 tsp roast chicken kinders seasoning
1/4 c flour
2 bay leaves
6 cups chicken broth
rotisserie chicken (shredded whatever amount you want)
2 cups heavy cream (or if you want it more broth consistency, add more broth
1/2 pack of egg noodles salt & pepper to taste
•melt 1 stick of butter
•once melted, add carrots, celery, onion & potato. cook until they're soft. add garlic and cook for about 1-2 mins. •then mix in garlic & herb seasoning & kinders chicken seasoning add flour & mix until combined
•add broth & bay leaves. stir & bring to a slight boil add chicken & heavy cream - let this simmer!! do not add anything until it becomes thick (if you're using just broth, you can add the noddles with the chicken)
•once thickened, add egg noodles and cover. cook until the noodles become soft
•i ended up having to add a few dashes of salt since the garlic & herb seasoning didn't have any & some pepper
**i served these with red lobster honey biscuits & they were delicious with a drizzle of honey on top of the biscuits!
