These brownies were so yummy… I could’ve honestly baked them a little longer but hey no one was complaining! They were great 😆.

Ingredients:

* 1 cup unsalted butter melted and cooled

* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

* 1¼ cups granulated sugar

* 1 cup packed light brown sugar

* 4 eggs at room temperature

* 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

* 1 cup all-purpose flour

* 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

* ¾ teaspoon salt

* ½ teaspoon baking powder

* 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×11-inch baking dish, line it with parchment paper (leave a little hanging over to use later), and set aside.

2. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup melted butter, 2 tablespoons oil, 1¼ cups sugar, 1 cup light brown sugar and whisk well.

* Add 4 eggs and 1 tablespoon vanilla and mix for another 2 minutes.

* In another bowl, sift 1 cup flour, 1 cup cocoa, ¾ teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon baking powder.

* Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

3. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out until even. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the middle no longer jiggles.

* Let sit in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then remove from the pan and let cool completely before cutting. (Use the parchment paper to help lift it up!)

You can add nuts, sprinkles or even a swirl of cream cheese to elevate the flavor. For decorating, consider drizzling melted chocolate or dusting with powdered sugar to add an elegant touch. The key to perfectly fudgy brownies lies in not overbaking them. Aim for a gooey center and let them cool completely before cutting for the best texture. If you're looking to make them a bit healthier, substitute some of the ingredients: use applesauce for oil or incorporate dark chocolate for a richer taste. Pair these brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or fresh berries for a delightful dessert experience that will impress your loved ones this Valentine's Day!
