... Read moreWhen writing physics notes, clarity and structure are your best friends. I found it helpful to break down complex topics into bite-sized explanations like distinguishing scalars (which have magnitude only) from vectors (which have both magnitude and direction). Including examples such as mass and speed for scalars, and displacement and velocity for vectors, can make the concepts more relatable. Also, using simple diagrams or drawing arrows to represent vector directions solidifies understanding. Another topic worth expanding on is relative velocity — imagining how one moving object looks from the viewpoint of another moving object. For instance, if two trains approach each other at 60 km/h and 40 km/h, their relative velocity adds up to 100 km/h. Visualizing these scenarios with real-life examples or sketches aids retention. Finally, organizing notes under clear headings like “Scalars and Vectors” and “Relative Velocity” ensures quick revision later. Including formulas with step-by-step problem-solving methods also enhances the usefulness of your notes. This approach transformed my notes from overwhelming text to an approachable learning tool.
