🍖 Tender Oven Baked Ribs
Ingredients:
2 racks of baby back ribs
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
1 cup BBQ sauce of your choice
Instructions:
1. Prep the Ribs
Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs for tenderness (slide a knife under, lift, and pull off with a paper towel).
2. Seasoning
Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne in a small bowl.
Rub ribs with olive oil, then coat generously with the spice blend.
3. Wrap & Bake
Place ribs bone-side down on large foil sheets. Wrap tightly and set on a baking sheet.
Bake for 2.5–3 hours until meat is tender and pulls from the bone.
4. Sauce & Caramelize
Remove ribs from oven, carefully unwrap.
Increase oven temp to 400°F (200°C).
Brush with BBQ sauce generously.
Return to oven uncovered for 10–15 minutes until sauce caramelizes.
5. Rest & Serve
Let ribs rest a few minutes. Slice between bones.
Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
✨ Result: Juicy, tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs with a smoky, sweet, sticky glaze.
