... Read moreLearning to speak Japanese can be both exciting and challenging. From my personal experience, consistency and practice are key elements. One of the best ways to improve your speaking skills is to actively use the language daily, even if it’s just simple phrases. When I started studying Japanese, I found that incorporating hashtags and trending topics like #studyjapanese and #wowww helped me connect with a wider learning community online. Engaging with others through duets or video collaborations was especially motivating, as it gave me a real-life context to apply what I learned. An effective technique I recommend is pairing your language study with cultural elements, like enjoying traditional dishes such as soba or udon. This not only enriches your vocabulary but also deepens your cultural understanding. Also, don’t be afraid to make mistakes. The process of trying to speak or 'try to learning speak' Japanese is essential. Using simple, everyday language first and gradually building complexity can boost confidence and fluency over time. Lastly, making use of language apps, flashcards, and listening to Japanese media can accelerate your learning journey. Remember, dedication and enjoying the process go a long way!

Jeju Recommendations no one asked for- Jeju East:
1) Airport Car rental from Orcar at least 30% cheaper than Lotte. 2) Waking up at 430am and taking 1 hour drive to UNESCO “Sunrise Peak” was worth it. Reached at 6am and everyone was already rushing to the top. Read that the climb was about 30min. I may or may not have reached the top in 10min.
