Italian Sausage Bowtie Pasta 🍽️
Probably my favorite pasta meal.
Simple steps below 👇🏼
1) boil water, cook pasta according to package directions
2) add 2 tbs oil to large skillet and crumble the sausage and red pepper flakes over medium-high heat until cooked through and browned
3) add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is tender
4) add 1 can of Italian-style plum tomatoes and 1 1/2C of heavy cream. Simmer until mixture thickens (about 10 min)
5) Add spinach, cook an additional 3 min then add your pasta (sprinkle with parsley if desired)
edition notes:
Pasta sauce may seem watery (like in photo) but let sit about 5 min off heat and mix around your pasta. Turns out PERFECT!
