👋🏻 Hey y’all I’m Taylor. I’m a 31 year old wife and momma to 2 girls. I’ve struggled with food/mental health and dieting for as long as I can remember. I am SO ready to break the cycle and change things up. Follow along for a realistic challenge and glow up- (and feel free to start this with me!!)

Trust me, I've been there, feeling stuck in a cycle of trying diets and workout fads that just don't stick. For me, a true glow up isn't just about fitting into a certain size; it's about feeling vibrant, strong, and confident from the inside out. And that's where a realistic fitness challenge truly comes into play. When I decided to embark on my own 75-day journey, the focus wasn't just on grueling gym sessions, but on building sustainable habits. My list of goals included daily workouts, but I quickly realized that 'workouts' can mean so many things! Some days it's a high-intensity session, other days it's a long walk with the kids, or even a calming yoga flow. The key is finding movement you enjoy and that fits into your life. Don't feel pressured to do a specific type of workout if it doesn't resonate with you. Maybe it's dancing in your living room, trying a new online class, or simply increasing your daily steps. Consistency beats intensity, especially when you're aiming for a long-term glow up fitness transformation. Another game-changer for me has been understanding the power of hydration. It sounds so simple, right? Drink water. But it's incredible how much energy, skin clarity, and even mental focus you gain just by hitting your water goals. I found that carrying a large water bottle everywhere and tracking my intake made a huge difference. Paired with balanced nutrition – focusing on whole foods rather than restrictive dieting – it fueled my body for those daily workouts and helped me feel less sluggish. It’s all interconnected: what you put into your body directly impacts your energy levels and how you perform physically. Beyond the physical, a true glow up tackles mental well-being too. My personal challenge also included goals like journaling and reading. These might not seem directly 'fitness' related, but trust me, a strong mind supports a strong body. Journaling helps process emotions, reduce stress, and clarify your intentions for your fitness journey. When you understand your 'why,' it's much easier to stay motivated on days when you feel like giving up. This mental fortitude is crucial for breaking those old cycles of feeling stuck. And let's not forget the importance of self-care. After all those workouts, your body needs TLC! This is where things like adequate sleep, stretching, and yes, even a consistent skincare routine come into play. Taking care of your skin, your largest organ, can make you feel more radiant, which totally contributes to that glow. It’s not just vanity; it’s about honoring your body and celebrating the effort you’re putting in. A relaxing evening routine, including some gentle stretching and a good skincare regimen, can also be a powerful way to wind down and prepare for another day of smashing your glow-up goals.
