Garlic Butter Crab Legs With Herbs
Garlic Butter Crab Legs with Herbs
Ingredients:
2 lbs crab legs (snow crab or king crab, pre-cooked)
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions:
Prepare the Crab Legs:
If frozen, thaw crab legs overnight in the refrigerator or under cold running water.
Use kitchen shears to cut along the shells slightly for easier access to the meat.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter with olive oil.
Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (do not brown).
Stir in lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
Let the sauce gently simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
Heat the Crab Legs:
Place crab legs in a large skillet or pan over medium heat.
Pour half of the garlic butter sauce over them.
Cover and cook for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until heated through and coated.
Coat and Finish:
Transfer crab legs to a serving plate.
Drizzle the remaining garlic butter sauce generously over the top, allowing it to pool slightly on the plate.
Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve:
Serve immediately while hot, with extra butter sauce if desired. #crab legs #garliccrabs #seafoodboilblovesauce #foodideas #foodie
