Smashburger Quesadillas You Need to Try

These are everything you love about a juicy Smashburger… folded into a crispy, cheesy, high-protein quesadilla.

Quick, easy, low-carb — and totally weeknight approved. 🍔🔥

What you need:

• Ground beef

• Low-carb tortillas

• 1 small onion, diced

• Shredded cheese

• Burger seasoning (or salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder)

• Burger sauce (store-bought or mix mayo + ketchup + mustard + pickle juice)

• Shredded lettuce (optional but adds that fresh crunch!)

Here’s how to make them:

1️⃣ Sauté the onions:

Dice your onion and cook over medium heat with a little oil until soft and golden. Set aside.

2️⃣ Smash the beef:

Lay a tortilla flat and press a thin layer of raw ground beef directly onto one side.

3️⃣ Cook beef-side down:

Heat a skillet over medium-high. Place the tortilla beef-side down in the pan and press gently with a spatula. Cook for about 4 mins.

4️⃣ Flip + fill:

Carefully flip the tortilla so the beef is now on top. Add shredded cheese, sautéed onions, and drizzle on your burger sauce.

5️⃣ Fold + crisp:

Fold the tortilla in half and cook each side for another 1–2 mins until golden and crispy.

6️⃣ Top it off:

Optional but so good — open it up and toss in a handful of shredded lettuce before serving.

7️⃣ Serve + enjoy:
