I had no idea my cortisol was why I couldn’t lose weight

I experienced this firsthand. Walking daily, cutting sugar, getting more sleep – I did all the right things but felt stuck and exhausted. Once I learned to support my cortisol levels through lifestyle changes rather than just trying harder, everything shifted. Key habits include managing stress through mindful practices like meditation or gentle yoga, ensuring adequate protein intake to support hormonal balance, and avoiding over-exercising which can spike cortisol further. Adding adaptogenic supplements and herbal cortisol support drinks helped regulate my energy and mood more consistently. Better cortisol balance also improved my sleep quality, which in turn positively affected metabolism and cravings. It’s important to remember that sometimes, doing less but smarter is more effective.
