How we eat when we travel

Travel can be tough to eat on a reasonable budget. This is what we eat in a day. Our kids don't get a special menu, they eat what we do and always have.

Breakfast: Fried egg, sausage, mango

Lunch: Sandwich with butter, spanish ham and gouda, dry roasted peanuts and an apple

snack: ice cream bars, we were at the beach and needed a treat

Dinner: Chicken thighs, basmati rice and steamed brocoli

The entire day cost foe this food for a family of 5 was around €35. We try to always rent places with kitchens foe this reason. It allows us to control what we eat, stay healthier and make out money go further.
