... Read moreAfter trying the Abbey Yung method myself for my 4C natural hair, I've realized how crucial it is to follow a consistent hair care routine to maintain moisture and reduce breakage. I started with oiling my hair before shampooing, which really helped protect my strands during washing. Using a clarifying shampoo first was excellent for removing product build-up accumulated from months in braids. Next, incorporating a protein shampoo helped strengthen my hair from the roots to the ends. Washing in small sections and repeating the wash cycle three times per section allowed me to ensure all buildup was thoroughly removed without excessive manipulation. For conditioning, I applied a deep repair conditioner and left it on for at least three minutes, which made my hair feel softer and more manageable after rinsing. I focused a repair serum especially on my ends to tackle split ends and dryness. Using a heat protectant before drying with my reverse dryer prevented heat damage. Through this experience, I realized how critical it is to choose the right products for 4C hair, such as hydrating and protein-rich shampoos and conditioners tailored to strengthen and moisturize. Regular oiling before washing significantly reduces breakage, and protecting hair during drying ensures better long-term health. This routine is a bit time-consuming but worth the effort for healthier, stronger natural hair that looks shiny and well-nourished.

Can you see a difference? 🫶✨
I got a last lift and tint for the first time the other day! The experience was definitely not what I was expecting! It took way longer than I would have guessed, but that’s probably because of the curling solution (which smelled horrible btw) needed time to set properly. Over all I’m not s

iOS 18! Let’s talk about it!
Every time there’s a new iOS, it does something to my little heart, I start planning in my head how I’m going to use new features to help me not only become more productive at my job or tasks, but also become a better me. I’ll be adding how I plan to use these features at work and or better myself.

high functioning anxiety | what others don’t see
people's picture of anxiety is often different from the reality. it isn’t always sweaty palms, a shaky voice, and panic attacks. sometimes it's a small voice, that only you can hear that constantly reminds you of everything you lack. “you aren’t good enough” “but what if the worst happe
