💀 The Reality: Waking up at 4 AM to pick up fresh flowers, battling wilting petals, and praying no one asks for blue roses (seriously, they don’t grow naturally, Karen).

Let’s be real—this business comes with a bouquet of problems:

🚘Suppliers ghosting you,

🥀Flowers dying faster than your motivation,

💰 A customer asking for a “tiny wedding bouquet” and then gasping at the price.

BUT, if you love flowers, don’t mind a little dirt under your nails, and are ready to embrace the rollercoaster, this is your sign to start! 💖🌷

One of the significant pros is the creative freedom it allows you to express your artistic abilities through stunning floral arrangements. Moreover, special occasions such as Valentine's Day or weddings boost profits significantly, making those peak seasons lucrative for florists. Additionally, there are multiple income streams: fresh bouquets, dried arrangements, potted plants, and even floral workshops cater to various customer needs. However, with the positives come notable challenges. The floral business can be highly competitive, with local flower shops and large supermarkets vying for the same customers. Also, managing your inventory is a constant struggle due to the perishable nature of flowers; unsold stock means lost revenue. Furthermore, the business requires relentless dedication, requiring early mornings and long hours, especially during peak seasons. Weather conditions also play a crucial role, as adverse weather can impact flower availability and increase prices. Overall, while passionate flower lovers may find it fulfilling to bring joy and beauty to their clients through floral creations, it's vital to prepare for the hurdles that accompany this industry.
