Creamy Cajun chicken pasta

I apologize in advance as I don’t measure, but I’ll try my best to estimate lol (for reference I cook for a family of 6)

1 box Bowie pasta

4 boneless skinless chicken breast

olive oil

butter

Slap ya mama seasoning

minced garlic

fire roasted diced tomatoes

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

1cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese

parsley

-boil the pasta, save a lil bit of the pasta water once cooked

-season your chicken (I use badia complete, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and pepper)

-once seasoned pan sear chicken in olive oil

-once chicken is done, remove and start your sauce in same pan

-In the same skillet over medium heat, add butter and garlic. Sauté until the garlic is fragrant. Then, add the diced tomatoes and sauté for an additional 2 minutes.

-Pour in the heavy whipping cream, add the Cajun seasoning to taste, and sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.

- cut up your chicken; and toss everything back into the sauce to combine

-top with parsley and serve with garlic bread and salad
