I honestly can’t believe it… but this finally helped my neck pain!!! 😭🙌
I’ve been dealing with neck problems for almost 5 years now. Honestly, it’s basically an occupational issue from spending all day hunched over my computer writing and editing. 💻📝 At first it was just occasional soreness and stiffness in my neck, and I didn’t think much of it. But over time it kept getting worse. 😣
Now even being slightly tired can make my neck ache like crazy, and sometimes even washing my hair with my head down feels uncomfortable. 🚿 I finally went to get it checked out recently and realized I’d been handling it the wrong way for years. 😮
So today I’m skipping the fluff and sharing a few things that actually helped me personally. Hopefully this can help anyone else struggling with neck pain too. 💪
① Don’t randomly get aggressive massages. 🙅♂️💆♀️
I tried a few deep-tissue style massages thinking they would help, but honestly they just made my neck hurt even more afterward. Later I found out that neck issues shouldn’t be treated too aggressively — gentle stretching and proper therapy from professionals works way better. ✅
② Don’t overdo neck exercises. 🧘♂️❌
I followed some intense neck workouts online before, and my neck ended up hurting for days afterward. Gentle stretching, walking, and swimming are much better options. 🚶♂️🏊♀️ Don’t try to push through the pain.
③ When the pain gets really bad, use a pain relief patch ASAP. ⏱️💊
I’ve tried sprays and gels before too, but personally I feel like patches work much better. I know some people think patches don’t do anything, but honestly I think it depends on finding the right one and using it consistently. I’ve tested quite a few over the years, and there’s one that genuinely helped me a lot — it’s called the Huayilang Patch. 👍
It’s not some huge famous brand, but the pain relief is honestly super fast and lasts a long time. ⚡ Whenever my neck starts hurting, I put one on and it gives off this really comfortable warming feeling. 🔥 Usually within about 10 minutes the pain calms down, and the relief lasts around 12 hours for me. 🕒
I can even wear it while working and it doesn’t get in the way at all. 💼 I only used it consistently for about a month, but my neck honestly feels almost back to normal now. Looking down to work no longer leaves me stiff and sore like before. 🥹
④ Stop looking down at your phone or computer for hours nonstop. 📱💻🙅♀️
I set alarms now to remind myself to stand up and stretch every hour. ⏰ I also added a neck pillow to my office chair and stopped slouching all day. 🪑😌
Honestly, for people who work desk jobs, neck problems are probably hard to completely avoid. But if you pay attention to your daily habits, fix your posture, and take care of your neck properly, things really can improve little by little. 🌱
Hopefully anyone dealing with constant neck pain can finally get some relief too! 🙏❤️
