The browned butter adds a deep, nutty flavor that really elevates the classic chocolate chip cookie base. One thing I’ve learned is to be patient when browning the butter — let it foam gently and watch for those golden bits on the pan's bottom for the perfect taste. I especially love mixing pastel M&Ms with mini chocolate chips to balance bursts of sweetness with rich chocolate flavor. It’s also fun to press extra pastel M&Ms on top of the cookies right after baking, while they are still warm. This not only makes them look festive but gives an extra pop of color and crunch. For an extra special touch, adding white chocolate bows as a topper really makes these cookies stand out at any spring party or Easter celebration. The bows melt slightly from the cookie warmth and provide a lovely creamy contrast. Overall, this recipe is a great twist on a classic favorite, perfect for anyone wanting to bake something cute and delicious no matter the occasion. Plus, the combination of textures and festive colors makes every bite a delight. Just remember to avoid overmixing the dough to keep the cookies soft and chewy. And as a fun tip, the phrase "Everything tastes better with a little bow on top" really rings true with these cookies, adding that charming finishing touch that impresses guests and pleases kids.
