How I cycle sync my workouts for balanced hormones

As females, our hormones fluctuate a lot during our cycle! And working out in tune with your cycle can make a huge difference in your health.

There is no “exact” way to cycle sync as everyone’s bodies are different and everyone may feel different in different phases of each cycle.

What it really all boils down to is LISTENING to your body and when you have lower energy… not forcing yourself to do a hard workout and instead giving yourself permission to rest and do light movement!

This is such an empowering mindset to have… giving your body permission to rest and not forcing HARD workouts 4 weeks out of the month goes a really long way in supporting hormonal balance in the body ✨

... Read moreCycle syncing involves adjusting your workouts according to the different phases of your menstrual cycle, which can lead to improved energy levels and hormonal health. In the Menstrual phase (days 1-5), focus on light movement like walking, stretching, and yoga. During the Follicular phase (days 6-14), you can increase intensity with activities like hiking and strength training. The Ovulatory phase (days 15-17) is optimal for high-intensity workouts such as circuit training and group fitness. Finally, in the Luteal phase (days 18-28), start with weights and circuits but transition to low-impact exercises as energy levels dip. Listening to your body's signals throughout these phases, and allowing yourself to rest when necessary, can greatly support overall hormonal balance. By respecting your cycle and adjusting your workout regimen accordingly, you empower your body and enhance your physical and mental well-being.
