How gardening transformed my mental health

Working in the garden has become more than just tending to plants..it’s been therapy in disguise. Digging into the soil, watching seedlings grow, and caring for something outside of myself has helped calm my anxiety, ease stress, and give me a sense of purpose. Every new leaf or flower feels like a win, and the routine of watering, pruning, and harvesting keeps me grounded.

So these pictures were taken a little over a year apart and I am just so proud of how far I have came in the last year! The first photos were taken when I weighed a little over 170lbs and this morning I weighed 159lbs. I love myself in both, but don’t get me wrong I love being a little more lean!
