Chicken Cordon Bleu Stuffed Crust Pizza
I did a chicken stuffed crust pizza before so I thought I'd do it again but add ham & cheese 😂
The chicken was cooked in butter with some Oscar's honey garlic rub then set aside to make the sauce...more butter, cream, dijon, more honey garlic rub, and pepper. Whisk, simmer, reduce, adjust to taste.
I hate making dough so I used store bought 🤣 line the edge with chicken, ham, & swiss cheese then roll and tuck it under.
Bake @ 550° on cast iron using the bottom oven rack, sprinkle of parsley, & enjoy! 😁
If you’re a fan of creative pizza recipes, trying a stuffed crust pizza with chicken cordon bleu flavors is a fun and rewarding twist. One of my favorite parts about this recipe is how the stuffed crust adds an extra layer of flavor and texture—not just the usual cheese but also chicken and ham rolled into the edge, creating a delightful surprise with every bite. When making the sauce, I found that balancing the creaminess with dijon mustard and the sweet-savory notes of honey garlic rub really elevates the overall flavor. It’s worth taking the time to simmer the sauce to reduce it slightly, as this intensifies the taste and helps it cling better to the pizza toppings. Using store-bought dough is a great time-saver, especially if you’re short on time or less confident about making dough from scratch. Just make sure to roll the dough evenly and don’t skip tucking the stuffed crust under properly—that keeps your filling secure during baking. For baking, cooking the pizza at a high temperature like 550°F on a cast iron skillet and using the bottom rack delivers an ultra-crispy crust that’s hard to beat. I also like adding a sprinkle of fresh parsley at the end for a touch of color and freshness. Overall, this pizza makes for a satisfying lunch or dinner option. It’s a great way to combine the flavors of a classic chicken cordon bleu with the universal love for pizza. Plus, sharing a homemade stuffed crust pizza is always a crowd-pleaser whether you’re feeding family or friends.
