Food timing needs to be discussed more.

Stop demonizing food.  Just change how you approach food👇

Food timing matters a lot. And I feel like it's not discussed enough.  Too much of the conversation is around what to eat and what not to eat.

Which confuses people,  because what is "good?"

I also hate the idea that I can never eat certain foods because they are out of line with my diet.

That just makes me want them more.

(I always want a donut, so you better not tell me I can't have one😜)

Your body is going to digest everything you eat into tiny molecules, which get absorbed into your bloodstream and used by your cells.  It doesn't really know what food they originated from. 

But if certain molecules enter your blood first,  it can change how your body uses them. 

This is especially true with sugar.

If a lot of sugar gets absorbed first, it will create a big insulin spike,  leading to increased hunger,  sugar cravings, and a huge dip in energy after your cells suck it up and use it (which is very quick)

But if protein (amino acids), and fats (fatty acids) get absorbed first,  or with that sugar,  that doesn't happen. 

And because you filled up on protein +fat,  you'll enjoy that donut more (and be satisfied with just a small portion).

(No extra sugar being converted to fat)

Bonus!  No sugar cravings, and you didn't have to feel deprived or guilty.
