Snickerdoodle Cookies
Dinner with friends tonight & bringing snickerdoodle cookies for dessert. Here’s the recipe:
12 tablespoons butter, soft
1 & 1/4 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 & 1/2 cups flour
1 & 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 & line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In stand mixer, cream butter, 1 & 1/4 cups sugar & vanilla.
Add eggs to combine.
Stir in flour, baking powder & salt to combine.
Combine cinnamon & 1/2 cup sugar in separate bowl.
Use ice cream scoop to make dough balls.
Place dough balls on baking sheets about 2 inches apart & bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
