Been needing this banana pudding since I saw it

I stumbled across @Sarah 💕 Protein banana pudding video AND had to make it!! So yummy! And a good source of protein while still getting a sweet treat! Go check her page if you like banana pudding.

I did no bananas 😭🥲 I know.. controversial. I used banana cream flavored gelatin only. And I ofc.. added more cookies 🙄🫣 mind ya business. . and I made a larger batch but only bc I don’t have mini jars or containers rn (just moved into my own apartment)! Anyways ..

My personal recipe:

1 cup cool whip mixed with 2 cups vanilla Greek yogurt (you can sub this for any vanilla yogurt I’m guessing)

Add 1/2 pack of banana cream pudding gelatin (you can adjust depending on how strong you want the flavor)

mix ofc :) until you get the consistency you like.. you can add more cool whip to make it thicker and more yogurt to make it less thick. My recipe is just what was perfect for me.

Layer it in container/s with cookies and then let it set overnight :)

ENJOY ⭐️

... Read moreAs someone always on the lookout for delicious yet healthier sweet treats, discovering the magic of protein banana pudding has been a game-changer. We often crave those comforting, classic desserts, but sometimes wish they offered a little more nutritional bang for their buck. That’s where this fantastic protein-rich version, built around the convenience of banana cream instant pudding mix, truly shines. One of the biggest advantages of using jello pudding mix is how incredibly fast and simple it makes the entire process. Forget complicated custards! With just a few ingredients, you can whip up a creamy, dreamy dessert in minutes. I've found that experimenting with different instant pudding flavors can lead to exciting variations – think chocolate banana pudding or even a pistachio twist. Just remember to adjust the amount of mix based on how intense you want that flavor to be. Now, let's talk about the protein boost. The secret weapon here is vanilla Greek yogurt. Not only does it add a wonderful tang and an unbelievably smooth texture, but it also significantly ups the protein content. This means you can enjoy your dessert feeling satisfied and energized, rather than experiencing that dreaded sugar crash. For those who enjoy a lighter touch, opting for zero sugar whipped topping or a light Greek yogurt can further enhance the health-conscious aspect of this treat. While some might find it controversial to make banana pudding without actual bananas, the beauty of this recipe is its flexibility. If you're like me and prefer the pure flavor of the pudding mix, that's perfectly fine! However, for the traditionalists, thinly sliced fresh bananas can be layered in between the pudding and vanilla wafers. A little tip if you do add fresh fruit: a squeeze of lemon juice can help prevent the bananas from browning too quickly, keeping your pudding looking pristine. It’s all about making it truly your perfect dessert. Beyond the classic vanilla wafers, don't be afraid to get creative with your crunchy layers and toppings. Graham crackers, shortbread cookies, or even a sprinkle of granola can add delightful texture. And for those looking to explore different crunch factors, I've even tried crushing up some cornflakes with a touch of cinnamon. It creates an unexpectedly delightful and rustic topping, offering a unique twist on the traditional. It's a great way to use up ingredients you might already have in your pantry and adds a fun, breakfast-inspired element to your dessert bowl. Finally, the setting time is key. Letting your pudding chill overnight, or at least for several hours, allows all the flavors to meld beautifully and the pudding to set to that ideal, spoonable consistency. Whether you portion it into individual jars for easy grab-and-go snacks or keep it in a larger bowl for family gatherings, this protein banana pudding is sure to be a crowd-pleaser that satisfies both taste buds and health goals.
