✨ These Cheesecake Brownies Never Last at home ✨

When I was selling baked goods in my at home bakery this was one of my BEST SELLERS: the fudgy brownie recipe paired with the creamy cheesecake it was just delicious!

Ingredients

• ½ cup butter, melted

• 1 cup granulated sugar

• 2 large eggs

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

• ½ cup all-purpose flour

• ¼ tsp salt

• 8 oz cream cheese, softened

• ¼ cup granulated sugar

• 1 large egg

• ½ tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and 1 cup sugar until smooth.

Add 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; whisk until glossy. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt just until combined.

- Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add ¼ cup sugar, remaining egg, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract; mix until creamy. Spoon cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter and gently swirl with a knife.

- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Cool completely before slicing.

Cooling completely before slicing is important as well; it helps the cheesecake layer firm up nicely and makes clean cutting easier. For the cleanest slices, wipe your knife between cuts. I’ve experimented with adding chocolate chips into the brownie layer and found it adds a lovely texture and extra chocolate bursts. Some people prefer to sprinkle a little sea salt on top before baking, which beautifully complements the rich flavors. Overall, this recipe is very approachable for bakers of any skill level and always impresses at gatherings.
