MY CURRENT WORKOUT SPLIT

I’m currently cutting at the moment from a bulk so the goal is to:

-Burn fat/build muscle

-Incorporate running for cardiovascular endurance -Increase my glute size

So this is my program to reflect that.

I currently enjoy working out 5 days on and 2 days off. Both of my days “off” are active rest days so I’m either running a couple miles or walking throughout the day aiming to hit my 10K steps.

What are your goals currently? 😊

... Read moreIt's awesome to see so many of you are interested in optimizing your gym workouts and achieving specific goals like growing your glutes! Beyond my daily split, I wanted to share some extra insights that have really helped me on my fitness journey, especially when it comes to those 'großer po' gains and overall strength. When I'm focusing on my 'leg exercises' and glutes, I can't stress enough the importance of quality over quantity. For exercises like 'deadlifts' and 'RDLs' (Romanian Deadlifts), perfecting your form is crucial not just for safely lifting heavier but also for truly feeling it in your hamstrings and glutes. I always start with lighter weights to really establish that mind-muscle connection. Another game-changer for glute activation are 'glute kickbacks' on the cable machine – I find them fantastic for isolating the muscle and getting a good burn. Don't be afraid to experiment with different foot positions to hit various parts of your glutes! For those looking to build serious upper body strength, especially with 'pull ups and dips only results' in mind, incorporating these into your routine is essential. On my 'Pull day', I always make sure to include some variation of pull-ups. If you're new to them, start with assisted pull-ups or negative pull-ups. Consistency is key, and you'll be amazed at the progress you make over time. Similarly, dips are incredible for triceps and chest development on 'Push day'. Even on active rest days, I sometimes throw in a few push-ups and pull-ups (as mentioned in my Wednesday routine) just to keep the momentum going and improve my bodyweight strength. And let's talk about movement beyond just lifting! While 'dancin' might not be a traditional gym exercise, the idea of dynamic movement is so important. I often include dynamic stretches that have a flowing, 'dance-like' quality in my warm-ups to improve mobility and get my body ready. On active rest days, mixing in 'sprint intervals' (as I do) with slower, steady-state cardio keeps things interesting and boosts cardiovascular endurance without feeling like a chore. Walking 10K steps is also a great way to stay active and aid recovery without overstraining. Finally, for any 'gym workout' to be truly effective, consistency, progressive overload, and proper nutrition are non-negotiable. Always aim to incrementally increase the weight, reps, or sets over time. And remember, what you eat fuels your performance and recovery. I track my macros while cutting to ensure I'm getting enough protein to preserve muscle. Listening to your body is also paramount; some days you'll feel stronger than others, and that's okay! Adjust your workout as needed to prevent burnout and injury. Keep showing up, stay consistent, and those fitness goals will definitely become a reality!
