Orange Pepper Chicken Rice Bowls 🍊🍗🍚 (Oma’s Kitchen Style)

This one is for my people who love flavour, meal prep, and good food that actually satisfies your soul.

My Orange Pepper Chicken is juicy, sweet, savoury, and perfectly glazed with fresh orange juice and zest — paired with garlic herb rice and a crunchy cucumber salad.

Simple ingredients. Big flavor. Healthy. High protein. And perfect for meal prep. 💛

🧡 Chicken Marinade

• Fresh orange juice + zest

• Light soy sauce

• Sriracha

• Garlic powder

• Salt & black pepper

How I make it:

I marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes (overnight if I have time).

Spread it on a lined tray, add extra orange juice/zest, and bake or air fry at 400°F for 25–27 mins.

Broil for 2–3 mins for that shiny caramelized finish. 🔥

🥒 Crunchy Cucumber Salad

• Mini cucumbers

• Red onion

• Carrots

• Red bell pepper

• Green onion

• Sesame seeds

• Honey

• Rice vinegar

This salad stays CRUNCHY for days because of the vinegar base.

Just don’t mix it with the rice until you’re ready to eat. 💁🏽‍♀️✨

🍚 Garlic Butter Herb Rice

• Basmati rice

• Light butter

• Fresh chopped garlic

• Parsley

• Salt & chili flakes

Let the rice cool a little before adding the herbs so they stay green and fresh.

Top with extra parsley to brighten it up. 🌿
