And who can forget the sheer joy of 'Sweet Home Alabama'? It’s the kind of comfort rom-com that never gets old; Reese Witherspoon is just iconic in it. For superhero fans, 'Iron Man' and 'Captain America: The First Avenger' both earned top marks from me. There's just something about the origin stories and the charismatic performances that make them incredibly rewatchable. 'Thor Ragnarok' also soared with its perfect blend of action and humor – definitely a favorite among the Marvel lineup. On the TV side, 'American Idol' was a surprising 10/10 for me this week, probably due to some truly standout performances that reminded me why I used to love reality competition shows. Of course, not everything can be a hit. Some movies, like 'Little' or 'Everything Must Go,' just didn't quite capture my attention or resonate as much, earning lower ratings. It's all part of the fun of exploring different genres and stories! Even Disney's 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Moana', while still great, landed at an 8/10 and 9/10 respectively for me, showing just how subjective these movie ratings can be based on your mood or what you're looking for. I find that having a dedicated 'watchlist' helps me make the most of my downtime. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a lighthearted comedy like 'Blades of Glory,' which was a hilarious 9/10, and other times I want something thought-provoking.
