With summer closing in on us I want to share my secrets to maintaining a flat stomach all summer long!
🐳1. Drink 2 tbs of apple cider vinegar mixed with 8 oz of water every single day on an empty stomach! You can do this first thing in the morning or right before bed. You will have little to no bloating throughout the day when you do this!
🌞2. Probiotic yogurt bowls! Probiotics are really good for your gut health & when you add granola, honey, & fruit of your choice to it, it tastes amazing! My favorite to buy rn is Siggi’s plain yogurt.
🌸3. Workout consistently! Working out 3-4 days in a row rather than 5 days sporadically will allow you to see real results. Consistency is key! And working out consistently is the only way you’re going to see muscle growth
🌊4. Eat clean! What I mean by this is try to eat foods a little more plain. Ground beef with salt & a side of white rice. This is great protein to fuel muscle growth and get rid of excess body fat. When it comes to food, less is more!
🍉5. DO NOT ST@RVE YOURSELF! While this may give you a flat stomach temporarily, in the long run this will ruin your digestive system leaving you constantly bloated & looking “pregnant.”

If the taste is too strong, a tiny bit of stevia or honey can make it more palatable without adding extra calories. I've also found that incorporating ginger tea or peppermint tea into my routine can be incredibly soothing for digestion and really helps to reduce that heavy, bloated feeling. Now, let's talk more about probiotics and gut health – it's a game-changer! While Siggi's is a fantastic choice because it's typically lower in sugar and higher in protein than many other brands, I also love to incorporate a variety of other fermented foods. Think kimchi, sauerkraut, kefir, or even kombucha. A truly healthy gut impacts everything from digestion to mood, and it's a massive player in achieving that 'flat stomach' feeling. I've noticed that when my gut is happy, bloating becomes a rare occurrence. Experimenting with different probiotic sources helped me find what works best for my unique system. When it comes to working out, my original point about consistency is incredibly important. But let's get specific about the kind of workouts that can really help with a flat stomach. While overall activity helps with fat loss, focusing on core strength doesn't just give you definition; it also supports your entire digestive system. I love incorporating Pilates or specific ab routines a few times a week, alongside my cardio and strength training. Remember, muscle growth burns more calories even at rest, contributing to overall fat loss and that sought-after summer body look. And please, don't forget rest days! Overtraining can actually cause stress on the body, leading to inflammation and hindering your progress. Eating clean, for me, isn't about deprivation, but about nourishing my body intelligently. I've found that avoiding highly processed foods, excessive sugar, and artificial sweeteners drastically reduces bloating. Instead of just ground beef and rice, I experiment with lean proteins like chicken breast, fish, and plant-based options like lentils, paired with complex carbs like quinoa, sweet potatoes, and plenty of non-starchy vegetables. It's also vital to pay attention to how your body reacts to certain foods – some people are sensitive to dairy, gluten, or specific vegetables like broccoli or beans, which can cause gas. It's all about figuring out what makes you feel your best. Lastly, mindful eating – slowing down, chewing thoroughly, and not eating too late at night – can make a world of difference in digestion and preventing that heavy, bloated feeling, especially when you're aiming for that amazing summer body.
