Day 23 of 100
Got up and did it — even though it felt earlier than it was. The mist and rain made everything quiet and gray, and I seriously considered crawling back into bed and saving my run for the afternoon.
But something nudged me out the door.
So off I went, in the rain. Just me out there this morning — no runners, no dog walkers, no one working in their yard. Just me and a few birds feasting on worms. It felt… peaceful.
All I could hear were my footsteps hitting the wet pavement and the occasional splash. My new shoes definitely took a hit, but weirdly, I didn’t mind.
There’s something about showing up for yourself — even when no one’s watching.
