I Stopped Hiding My Mood Swings

For the longest time, I thought I had to hide my mood swings to be liked. I was scared people would think I was too dramatic, too sensitive, or unstable.

But the truth? Pretending I was fine only made things worse. I felt alone in my emotions and completely disconnected from myself.

Everything changed when I started tracking my moods. I paid attention to my cycle, my food, my sleep, and even my environment. And I realized: my mood swings weren’t random they were messages.

Now I give myself permission to feel what I feel, without judgment.

I take walks, journal, nap, or sit with my feelings because I don’t owe anyone a performance when I’m struggling.

... Read moreMany individuals struggle with mood swings, often feeling the need to conceal their true emotions due to societal pressure. This article highlights the significance of acknowledging and tracking your moods. By understanding the links between mood, hormones, and overall health, you can learn to embrace your emotions rather than suppress them. The process of mood tracking not only helps identify triggers but also fosters a deeper connection to oneself. This increased awareness can lead to better self-care strategies, such as journaling, mindfulness, and reflective practices, allowing individuals to show up authentically without fear of judgment. Additionally, many people might experience fluctuations due to changes in lifestyle or mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. It is essential to recognize these swings as normal human experiences and not something to be ashamed of. Engaging in supportive communities, professional guidance, or wellness practices can provide the necessary tools to navigate these emotions. Ultimately, valuing your feelings and understanding that it’s okay to feel deeply can transform how you relate to your mood swings and embrace vulnerability.

Stop making this one mistake with your swings
Stop squatting your kettlebell swings. If it looks like a squat, feels like a squat, and moves like a squat… it’s not a swing. A kettlebell swing is a HIP HINGE, not a squat-to-the-ceiling situation. Fix this one thing and you’ll feel your glutes and hamstrings actually doing the work.
