Advice I actively disagree with…

4/22 Edited to

... Read moreAs a beauty creator, I often come across makeup advice that feels overused or even counterproductive. While many tips aim to simplify routines or enhance results, I’ve found that some popular advice doesn’t always work for everyone. For example, I’ve noticed that the common recommendation to always apply foundation with a beauty sponge isn’t a perfect fit for all skin types or looks. Sometimes, using brushes or even fingertips can offer better coverage and finish depending on product texture and personal skin needs. Another piece of advice I challenge is the notion that contouring should be heavy to sculpt the face. From my experience, subtle contouring tailored to your face shape creates a more natural, flattering effect. Overdoing it can result in a less polished appearance and feel unnatural. Also, in the world of beauty tips, there is a lot of emphasis on following strict step-by-step routines. While routines can be great, I believe makeup should be fun and flexible according to your mood, occasion, or skin condition. Don’t get stressed if you skip a step or experiment with mixing products differently. In summary, not all advice fits everyone equally. I encourage makeup lovers to test, tweak, and discover what genuinely works best for them rather than adhering blindly to popular tips. Authenticity in makeup application often leads to the best and most confident results, boosting both your appearance and your love for the craft.

Money advice I totally disagree with 💸🚫
💭 “You must stop all fun to save” — nope! Saving shouldn’t feel like punishment. Balance matters. 🛍️ “Never use credit cards” — wrong again. Used wisely, they can build credit + rewards. ✨ “Rich people never budget” — budgeting is literally how many stay rich & stress-free. #asklemon8 #
